Any child that grew up listening to their parents' classic rock albums can
relate to Scottie Long's dream of being a singer for a rock band. But it
wasn't until after high school that Scottie decided to bring his dream a step
closer to reality. With one LP (Tell Me About Today) under his belt, and
recently released EP's, (Walking Alone, Scottie Long EP) it is no wonder
this young singer/songwriter is being taken very seriously.

Scottie's music tends to be referred to as acoustic rock; reminiscent of
some of pop and rock music's greatest artists. However, his current effort
offers very unique qualities of its own. With songs ranging from love,
loss, and appreciation of life (Gonna Miss Her, Where did you go Chicago?)
to Scottie's current thoughts on ‘greening' our earth and bettering our
environment (Clean World), it seems this musician is mature beyond his
years…did we mention the guitar skills he has proven on Epic?

Scottie uses his talent as a means of giving back to others by working with
many non-profit organizations such as; Cure Autism Now, American Cancer
Society, Dance Marathon, La Rabida Children's Hospital & various
environmental groups. Helping others is truly the way this young musician
finds fulfillment.
